Affiliate disclosure

If BustimeFinder later joins an approved transport or ticket programme, each monetised option will be identifiable as advertising before the visitor engages with it. The ticket card and its call to action will use a clear label such as Ad · Affiliate booking link.

BustimeFinder may receive a commission when an eligible booking is attributed to a labelled link. That commission will not increase a price claimed by BustimeFinder, and no commission, discount, availability or fare will be invented.

Timetables, stop information, live observations and route maps remain independent information surfaces. Commercial rank, commission and payment will not alter those records or the order in which public-transport data is presented.

A ticket link will lead to an independent operator, retailer or advertiser. That destination is responsible for price, availability, booking, payment, fulfilment, changes, refunds, customer service and its own terms and privacy practices.

A commercial option will appear only where BustimeFinder can match the service to an approved programme and a permitted HTTPS destination. Ambiguous, expired, paused, rejected, offline or unsupported matches will fail closed and show no affiliate link.

BustimeFinder will not automatically redirect visitors, hide a commercial destination, prefetch a tracking link or claim that tickets are available without current evidence. A visitor must deliberately choose the labelled option.

Every enabled affiliate link will use rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". Programme approval, destination ownership, deep-link permission and route or destination matching evidence must be revalidated before launch and after any advertiser or network status change.

Affiliate measurement is currently disabled. Before any non-essential affiliate storage or measurement is enabled, BustimeFinder will provide the required consent choice, update the cookie notice with the actual live technology, and send the current choice through the Awin Consent Signal or a supported IAB TCF signal.

A tracking destination must not be rendered, prefetched or opened before the required choice is known. Where a verified clean destination is available, refusing optional measurement will preserve the underlying booking utility; otherwise BustimeFinder will show no commercial link. No ticket card may leave disabled state until all of these gates pass: the advertiser programme is approved and active; the exact destination and deep-link method are permitted; the route, operator or destination match is supported by current evidence; the advertisement label is visible before interaction; consent and refusal behavior pass regional tests; no secret tracking parameter is exposed in logs or source; and a kill switch can remove the commercial option without changing transit information.

Analytics for the feature must record only the minimum event needed to test usefulness and reliability. It must not copy passenger search terms, full tracking URLs, network identifiers or booking details into BustimeFinder analytics.
